Annapurna Base Camp Trekking
Annapurna Base Camp trek is a very popular and moderate grade trek in Annapurna region. This base camp trek starts at Phedi, a short drive of about 45 minutes from Pokhara. The trail takes you through fascinating traditional villages of Nepal’s ethnic communities of the Gurung, Magar, and Thakali who will greet you very warmly. You can savor the natural beauty of pristine glaciers, deep gorges, bamboo and rhododendron forests and witness the fascinating lifestyle and culture of the inhabitants.
This Annapurna base camp trek is also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary trek and ABC trek. The Annapurna Base Camp trek will be even more interesting in spring as the whole forest along the trail turns red, pink and white with rhododendron flowers. This wonder trip can be done anytime of the year except during the monsoons (July thru August).

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking Itinerary: Base camp
Day 01 : Arrived in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel. Later this evening you will have the chance to meet your Trek Leader and the other members of the tour. over night at Hotel
Day 02 : Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour : After breakfast, we'll visit Swayambhunath temple, and said to be 2000 years stupa on a hillock offers breath-taking view of Kathmandu City. We will then processed to Visit Pasupatinath and Bouddhanath. After lunch we'll visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan (Lalitpur) - which is the oldest of the three major cities in Kathmandu Valley - famous for its Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples, and you can catch the traditional artisans working with wood, stones and metals. O/N in Kathmandu.
Day 03 :Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara: You have breakfast being of the early morning before 7:00 AM. This morning you will be drive to Pokhara (200km), departure early in the morning, approximately 6 hrs away by tourist bus
Day 04 : Pokhara to Tikhedhunga : One hour drive to Nayapul walk through the lust, green Modiriver valley. Past waterfalls with plunge pools that invite you to swim.
Day 05 : Trek from Tikhedunga to Ghorepani: A gentle climb through pasture adn cultivated fields as you climb up you walk up besides the cascading river through refreshingly cool oak and rhododendron forest.
Day 06 : Trek from Ghorepani toTadapani: Early morning walk up to Poonhil, One of the best Himalayan view points in Nepal, which provides a unobstructed view of the high Himalaya and start our trek to Tadapani, A short early morning climb to the Deurali pass for a spectacular panorama over Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna, Trail descends steeply through dense moss-covered forest rich with bird life to Tadapani which provides you a close up sunset view.
Day 07 : Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrung : The trail drops down form Tadapani, through dense rhododendron forest. Stay at Chhomrong(2040m) towering above the villages is the mighty peak of Annapurna south, with the Fishtail facing it across the valley.
Day 08 : Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan : Chhomrong to Dovan: We walk through the forest of Kuldighar. The track winds steeply up through deep bamboo and rhododendron forest to the village of Dovan
Day 09 : Trek from Dovan to Annapurna Base Camp: A trek of the narrow Modi khola valley will bring you almost to the base of the ABC. Here you will spend a day gazing away at the snow covered peaks above and the beauty of the landscape around.
Day 10 : Trek from Annapurna base camp to to Bambo: After having breakfast we trek down to Bambo, it takes more or less 5 hours walk to arrived Bambo.
Day 11 : Trek from Bambo to Jhinudanda: Enjoy a natural hot springa at Jhinu danda stay overnight there.
Day 12 : Trek from Jhinudanda toTolka : close up view of Mount Fishtail and Annapurna South.
Day 13 : Trek Tolka to Pokhara: looking around pokhara.
Day 14 : Fly or drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 15 : Final departure, transfer to airport
